The Highland Lake Area

The Highland Lakes are located in Central Texas starting about 85 miles northwest of Austin and going all the way down to the capital city. The Highland Lakes are located in four Texas counties: Llano, Burnet, Williamson and Travis Counties. The lakes start with Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake LBJ, Lake Marble Falls, Lake Travis, Lake Austin ending with Lady Bird Johnson Lake (aka as Town Lake).
